Ushe Madzoro, Hunoravanwa explores the cyclical nature of power, intimacy, and inherited memory. Two intertwined figures emerge through fragmented textile panels—part portrait, part landscape, part emotional archive. Their bodies appear both present and dissolving, suggesting that identity is never singular, but shaped through generations of connection, separation, and return.
The muted earth palette evokes skin, soil, and ancestry, while geometric forms introduce the language of structure, tradition, and cultural continuity. Painted on suspended fabric, the work carries a sense of movement—like stories being passed through cloth, through touch, through bloodline.
