The Eye That Remembers

Suspended between mask, mirror, and spirit vessel, this enigmatic figure emerges from an unfinished world—half revealed, half protected, entirely aware. Encased within an organic, cocoon-like form, the subject appears less painted than unearthed—as though memory itself has taken physical shape.

The exaggerated eyes command immediate attention. Wide, alert, almost otherworldly, they do not simply look outward—they remember. They carry the burden of ancestral witness, of stories passed through bloodlines, ritual, migration, silence, and survival. One eye reflects the external world, while the other seems turned inward, navigating unseen spiritual landscapes.

The tribal markings etched along one side of the face function like both language and scar—symbols of identity, belonging, initiation, and inherited code.
