Cities Burn, Ancestors Whisper

At first glance, the work feels abstract—an eruption of fire, pigment, atmosphere, and movement. But the longer one remains with it, structures begin to emerge: skylines, pathways, fractured architecture, waterways, signals, memories. What once appeared chaotic begins to reveal itself as a map—not of geography, but of emotional survival.

Bathed almost entirely in incandescent oranges, rusts, and molten ambers, the composition radiates heat—suggesting both destruction and illumination. It feels like dusk over a city… or perhaps the final glow of something ancient refusing to disappear.

A dark, jagged line cuts diagonally through the canvas like a fault line, a migration route, a scar, or a bloodline—connecting upper worlds to lower ones, memory to future, destruction to renewal. Around it, fragments of turquoise, cobalt, black, and gold pulse like coded messages, coordinates, spiritual markers, or ancestral transmissions hidden beneath the noise of modern life.
